walker and caleb are like two old men watching the badminton game- it was the great summer of badminton...avoiding a 2/4 yr old racing around in an electric tractor.

I missed our outing to the falls and goats on the roof - feed the goats and they do tricks...this was on our way to the waterfall.


oh lordy...since school has started it's been a whirlwind of activities..............Kids are doing great in school. Coleman loves Mr. Gerrells and it's been a great 4th grade year with academics great and behaviour...cutting down on socialiation...but that's oK., Olivia still has mrs. Gooch and all around doing well. Walker likes/dislikes school like only Walker can but is doing well and can write his same and sings all the songs spontaneously....5 little pumpkins, gingerbread man. Caleb love mothers morning out MMO and wants to go everyday but goes 3 mornings a wk.

caleb-you bend down, ready set go with your jaw clenched and run as hard as you can , so cute, watching the movie spirit with the horses and burying you head into my shoulder when you were scared...thanking God for the horses going to bed prayers Olivia...praying for peace for everyone when coleman was killing the monster spider on the garage wall while I screamed , jumped out of the car , and then settled my self down after reving up the kids. ( spiders aren't my thing...ever...and there is no such thing as a small spider)

my bday and old fash day 2010

I had a great bday- the kids were sweet and made wonderful cards. Colemna used his money to buy a card and bought me earrings. I tried to talk him out of spending his money but he spent about $30 and said "it's ok mom, you are worth it" lordy, makes me tear up. Olivia and Walker's cards were thoughtful and creative also.

walker- I got to go to Old Fashion Day at Walker's school and we had fun but he didn't want me to leave. I left him with Mrs. Diane (his fave) and when I walked around I didn't see him with her. I walked around to where I parked my car and there he was standing alone at the fence waiting for me with big tears running down his face-whewww, killing me not to cry, smile and wave and cry once I get in he car.

Caleb sayin's "no", "stop it NOW"," shut up" ....(no one is fessin' up to this one) , "you want a piece of me" he's mean mean but then sweet sweet...says, horses in the barn, I go to school..go away mommy, "walker's boo-tee", mommy's boo-tee, coleman's boo-tee..and just add pee or poop to that ...I put him in time and he yells "bad mommy!" ??



walker- will you walk me in mommy and not drop me off....will you hold my hand..stands at the door and kisses and hugs me and watches with his big brown eyes as I walk off. All your questions....I can't answer...endless questions.."why"

Olivia-While the boys are outside chasing each other with swords yelling, and causing a ruckus outside...I'll find her inside...quietly cutting things out for paperdolls, coloring, making things for her friends and teachers....she is working on being neater and yesterday made her bed (looked great like I had done it) and gone the extra mile to pick up and organize her room. This a.m. wanted to take out her trash and made her bed



coleman- Walker former mmo teacher Mrs. Pam telling me Coleman jumped up to help her dghtr Courtney who spilt her milk and got her some paper towels and asked if she needed anything else. A boyscout mom, said he asked her how her boys were enjoying boyscouts and had a polite conversation with her- she was impressed with his manners-so proud.

first day

First day of school- nerves....spent the day before at school volunteering with PTO and the kids got to run around for about 3 hrs with their friends...what a difference a year makes :) Got up early to cook some sausage and biscuits. Dropped off the kids at elementary and I was a little teary watching them go in and head to pre-k with walker. I walked him in and he reached up and grabbed my hand and said " I feel a little shy" ..and then as we are walking in said "why do I have to go to school mommy"...bit the inside of my cheek so I wouldn't cry and also I had breezily told his teacher "no problem he's my 3rd" when she warned me about "no crying" He did fine and I watched him through the window..no tears from him...held it together until the car and cried all the way home and on/off during the day...watsa matta wid me! They all had a fab day...Coleman talked more than all the previous 4 yrs combined...he got a fab teacher Mr. G who he loves and is excited about, Olivia was mad b/c she had a homework page on the first day, and Walker ....loved it and when we prayed said he like school and on his fave thing of the day said "school" so yay for the first day.

Olivia is 8 and I don't like it :). She was a beautiful newborn and a momma's girl which was great and not great. Hard to get on the sleep routine and when I would let her cry it out for so many minutes and go in to comfort her it would only make it worse. I finally went to the kitchen where I couldn't hear her as well and waited it out..it took about 3-4 days but finally turned into a sleeping champion.. I had made the mistake of letting her sleep with me due to health issues with both her and Coleman with many ER trips so I was exhausted but she was spoiled....anyway
Love this grin of hers!

sweet Olivia..who usually listens, minds first, deep thinker, takes things to heart, tender heart who cries or doesn't like it when the boys get into trouble ...esp Caleb who runs to her when he doesn't get his way. She finally has overcome some things that have been difficult for her to deal with and has been praying about. She has a sweet spirit seems "spiritual" , graceful/slender --loves charades, creative with cutting out things in magazines, flexible but also has some strong opinions ...turning 8-sheesh! I'm very proud of her and know I can trust her behavour and decisions when I'm not around.

my sweet caleb- listening to the fish radio station...caleb says no, rock and wheel..over and over until i understood we will rock you "rock and roll song"..i turn it on ..he stands on the chair and says "turn it up and go way mommy" as he stomps his feet and claps.

How sweet he is (usually when he goes to bed and wakes up)...nite mommy, see u later (wayter), see u in da mornin, saying prayers...have to name everyone, woke him up early to pick walker up from school...he's sleepy face 1/2 awake and watching him in the mirror driving to the school and his sweet squished up face and his little grin..oh wish I could capture it somehow. we pass the horse field and caleb knows their schedule..horses eat bfast?, horses sleeping...today was a new day....in da barn? seepin?, I go to gin nas nics too. (gymnastics)? goin' homemommy? yes, caleb, ooohkay mommy, right now?, it is the terrible twos and figuring out his indep with hitting, being stubborn, not apologizing to his brothers/sister and sitting in time out longer than necess b/c he's mad

Wearing goggles at the pool...why?, who knows, he could barely see out of them. Realizing you could touch the bottom of the baby pool and letting go of your death grip on me and scooting around the pool. You are a charmer and love to make us laugh..as in the last pic. So blessed to have you in our family!
